We designed and built this stylish yet traditional kitchen for Mr and Mrs McCaffer in Elderslie. It’s a five-piece bespoke shaker kitchen in light grey and dust grey (a very popular combination in the shaker style currently), which includes a feature breakfast bar. A key reason to get a unique bespoke kitchen from Caddisfly is the customisation we provide – the curves on the base and wall cabinets match with the contours of the breakfast bar and make for a unique and impactful kitchen. As per standard, Mr and Mrs McCaffer arranged their own fitter and appliances (liaising with our designers as they chose appliances).
Mr McCaffer stated: “we were recommended Caddisfly Kitchens by a friend who had used them. We went into Caddisfly and talked with one of the designers, and straight from the off we found him very helpful. He came out, measured up, then we went to the showroom and chose the shaker kitchen. He designed a full digital mock-up of the bespoke shaker kitchen, which helped me visualise the finished kitchen (as I lack imagination)! We love it! It’s great, and we’re very pleased with it.”

”The customisability of doing a bespoke kitchen was a key reason to go with Caddisfly. We asked for some special features which they delivered, such as the curved units at bespoke sizes, and they liaised with third parties to help source extra items for us. We liked the fact that they were local, and that gave us confidence in case any issues arose (which didn’t happen in the end). They were very easy to deal with and very helpful - I’d recommend them to anyone.
